Introduction to Lean Green Belt
Lean Green Belt / Lean Practitioner training includes combination of classroom learning, practicals, self-study, coaching & mentoring consisting of approximately 45 hours (6 days in-class equivalency), not including time associated with project application and implementation.
With the Green Belt Certificate Program, the participants will obtain a deep lean knowledge through class-room trainings, practical lean capabilities through focused onsite practical sessions and specially developed set of simulations.
Green Belts and Lean practitioners shall prepare and produce a portfolio of evidence of practical application and will be reviewed by a panel of Lean Black Belts or Certified Lean Experts or Certified TPS Practitioners (Grade III by Toyota Engineering Corporation)

Now you can practice essential lean concepts while learning at the ICEES simulation lab. Participants get the opportunity to work as team members, team leaders, and industrial engineers in a simulated factory environment and see wastes in real-time and improve the assembly line using Yamazumi and Gemba Kaizen.

Learning Outcomes
The role of the Lean practitioner is to participate in Lean improvements in the organization. These improvement activities will usually be within the operation. In so doing, the Lean practitioner will
- Work to implement improvements in the local area
- Use workplace layout techniques to improve process flow
- Be required to lead improvement activities and quantify benefits delivered
- Coach team members on process improvement methods and activities
- Run training sessions on Lean techniques.

Evaluation Criteria
Final examination (MCQ & Written) 2 hours
Individual Assignment ( Gemba Kaizen, Process Mapping & Problem Solving)
Group Assignment ( A3 Project )
Individual and group assignments will be reviewed on a given date by a panel of Lean black belts / Certified Lean Experts / Certified TPS Practitioners. The review guidelines will be provided during the course.
Certification
- Pass criteria of minimum 70% for the final examination
- 60% or above for individual assignments and the group assignments.
